The Lilybank Stratford is located at 75 Kamerunga Road, Stratford, Queensland; 2.5km from Cairns Airport turn-off. This iconic timber property is a landmark feature on the Stratford Heritage Trail* and has provided a tropical sanctuary for its residents for nearly 100 years.

Set on 1,400 m2 of landscaped tropical gardens, Lilybank is close to shops (700m from Stratford Village Precinct) and on the public transport route. Stratford is a short 10-minute drive from Cairns city and the northern beaches.
For your convenience, many tour companies and local clubs/pubs (including the Red Beret and Yorkery’s Knob Boat Club) provide complimentary pick-ups and drop-offs from the property.

*29 marked sites on the Stratford Heritage Trail. If you want to walk the trail, there is a map and introductory sign outside Stratford Library on Kamerguna Road (about 650m from Lilybank). The map and list of sites can be downloaded, printed out, and taken with you on the walk.

Our tour booking service is provided free of charge and you will pay the same price with us, as you would by booking direct with the operator, we even include complimentary transfers in our rate.

Stratford, home to Lilybank, is a 10 minute drive from Cairns city and the Cairns Beaches.

This means it offers guests convenient proximity to the Reef Fleet Terminal, where most Great Barrier Reef day tours depart from, and Barron Gorge National Park, home to the award winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway (see below) and Kuranda Scenic Railway.
